Hello! My name is Hawo Dahir, and I’m the founder and director of Aisha Family Childcare. I’m a proud mother of five and have been a licensed childcare provider in Seattle since 2010, bringing over 15 years of experience to the families I serve.

Caring for children has always been my passion, and I treat every child at AFC as if they were my own. I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident that their child is in a safe, loving, and enriching environment and that’s exactly what I’ve created at Aisha Family Childcare.

I’m currently continuing my education in Early Childhood Education at North Seattle College, so I can stay up to date with best practices and offer the highest quality care.
