Description: This thesis work was focused on protecting the astronauts and nanosatellites from GCR radiation up to certain radiation doses. To conduct the research, numerical analysis, and topology optimization was carried out on the prepared CAD model of the robotic arm. After that, 3D printing technology was implemented to fabricate the optimized model and the radiation protective nanocomposites were developed.
