AirUniConnect is an UNOFFICIAL Air University Application developed by Solo Developer. This SERVICE is provided at no cost and is intended for use as is.
This page informs visitors about our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information for anyone who decides to use our Service.
By choosing to use our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as outlined in this policy. The Personal Information we collect is used solely to provide and improve the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, unless otherwise defined here.
Information Collection and Use
For a better experience while using our Service, we may require you to provide certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to:
Device Information: We collect device-specific information such as the device ID for administrative purposes (e.g., identifying admin users for Lost and Found moderation).
User-Generated Content: In the Lost and Found feature and Societies Feed, we collect information you provide, such as item descriptions, post content, locations, dates, and images uploaded via ImgBB.
Email Address: While the app does not ask for or directly use your email, third-party services such as Firebase may automatically collect your device-associated email for analytics or crash reporting purposes.
Firebase Authentication is used to manage user sign-in securely. We collect minimal information required for authentication, such as email addresses or phone numbers, which is used solely for app functionality and not shared with third parties.
The app may access your device camera to allow you to take photos for profile pictures or to upload content within the app. These images are used only for app functionality and are stored securely (e.g., Firebase Storage). The app does not access your camera in the background."
These data types are collected and/or shared strictly to provide app functionality and improve app performance, as declared in the Google Play Data Safety section.
The app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you, including but not limited to:
Firebase (Google): For push notifications (via Firebase Cloud Messaging), analytics, crash reporting (Firebase Crashlytics), and database storage (Firebase Realtime Database).
ImgBB: For image uploads and hosting in the Lost and Found feature and Societies Feed.
Images uploaded via the Lost and Found feature and Societies Feed are shared with ImgBB, a third-party image hosting service, for the purpose of storing and displaying user-submitted images. No other personal information is shared with third parties unless explicitly stated in this policy.
