It is a lighter than Air VTOL –UAV, semi rigid aerostat with electric propulsion system, designed for cargo operation and can be constructed easily using Airlifter Kit.

Is it a new technology?

No. it is a well researched and known technology for many organizations around the globe. But popularity in India is till now very limited.

Why should we use this technology?

Economic, Environment friendly and capability to reach/deliver at extreme remote areas without any infrastructure requirement are some of the most significant  advantages.

What are the main disadvantages?

The average speed  of Airlifter is much slower than conventional aircrafts and UAVs.

Operational requirements ?

Basic ground handling  facility - minimum 1500 sq ft of open area, battery recharge & storage shed, warehouse & office space, Hanger (Optional).
