Typically, the process takes 3-4 months but, results may vary depending on individual circumstances

Yes! If you have college credits or participated in JROTC, Civil Air Patrol, or the Boy Scouts, you may qualify for a higher rank.
How Long is Basic Training/Technical Training?
How Long is Basic Training/Technical Training?
BMT is 8.5 weeks at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX.
Technical Schools are tailored to specific careers. 12-16 weeks is typical however, the full range is 6-96 weeks.

The Space Force will fall under the Air Force. The Space Force is currently pulling over members from the Air Force Space Command and will continue to do so gradually. Enlisting in the Air Force my be your quickest ticket into the newest military branch!
