Lillian Shoemaker is a member of the class of 2025 studying Mechanical Engineering. She enjoys hiking, kayaking, and spending time with her family. Her learning goals for this project were to learn more about aerodynamic properties, how to use the wind tunnel, and oscillatory behaviors of an airfoil. She also wanted more experience in project management.
William Skelly is a member of the class of 2025 studying Mechanical Engineering. He loves building model airplanes, cold-water SCUBA diving, and sailing. His learning goals for this project included getting wind tunnel experience and applying systems of 2nd order ODEs to a real world problem.
Miranda Pietraski is a member of the class of 2025 studying Electrical and Computer Engineering. She enjoys playing DND with friends, designing circuits for Olin's Formula team, and performing with the Olin Fire Arts Club. Her learning goals for this project included working on a system that can collect and store accelerometer data from an airfoil and using data processing to determine features for the information collected.
