Refund Policy
How to Get a Full Refund on any Airline Ticket?
Every airline has a separate set of regulations as part of their flight cancellation policy, which determines the refund scenario. However, being some regulation common to each and every airline, a full refund is available to the passengers only under the given circumstances:
If the tickets have been canceled within 24 hours of booking, then irrespective of the travel class or any other factor, a full refund will be given to them in the original form of payment. Also, to utilize the 24-hour window, it is mandatory that the ticket should be booked at least 8 days prior to the departure.
Zero cancellation fee with a full refund is also applicable if the ticket has been cancelled ateast 60 days prior to the flight departure.
Under special circumstances, depending on the situation, the airlines have to offer a refund to passengers. These include serious illness, bereavement, or military orders. However, the passenger is required to submit documents supporting their reason.
How to avoid cancellation fees and non-refundable scenarios while canceling your ticket?
Purchase a refundable fare-type or flexible fare which does increase the chances of the passenger for getting a full refund.
You need to keep in mind that airlines do not offer any kind of refund on basic economy after 24 hours of booking. So make sure to proceed accordingly with the basic fare type ticket.
Instead of cancellation, you can proceed for a flight change, which might help to save a major amount of money. Although flight change does involve an applicable fee and the fare difference, considering the cancellation fee and the seat availability on any other future flight, changing flight details is still worth a shot.
