1. Introduction

AI Resume: Builder & Writer is a mobile application that helps users create professional resumes, cover letters, and interview preparation using AI assistance.

Your privacy is extremely important to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how it is used, and how we protect it.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Text you type inside the resume builder
• Details added to your templates (job history, skills, education, etc.)
• Interview questions or prompts you submit
• Messages sent to our support email

Optional images

If you upload a profile photo for your resume, it is only processed locally on your device or sent securely to our AI servers for formatting.

We DO NOT collect:

• Your name, phone number, email, or account login
• Contacts, photo library, or personal files
• Precise GPS location
• Any financial or payment details
• Any resume content after processing

We do not create or store user accounts. Your documents belong entirely to you.

3. How We Use Your Information

When you ask the AI to write or improve a resume:

→ Your text is securely sent to our AI engine
→ The AI generates content (resume text, bullet points, edits, interview questions)
→ The data is deleted automatically from our servers within seconds after processing
→ We never store, sell, or re-use your resume data

Your resume content is used only to generate the AI response you requested.

4. Third-Party AI Providers

We use trusted AI partners to generate resume content and suggestions.

These providers are contractually prohibited from:
• Storing your resume content
• Training their models on your data
• Sharing or selling any information

All requests are encrypted end-to-end.

5. In-App Purchases

Subscriptions and payments are processed exclusively by Apple’s App Store.

We use RevenueCat only to manage subscription status.
RevenueCat cannot see or access your payment information.

6. Analytics & Tracking

To improve app performance, we use privacy-friendly analytics that do not collect personal information.

We do NOT use:
• Advertising tracking
• Third-party marketing trackers
• Behavioral profiling

Analytics are limited to anonymous usage patterns (e.g., number of templates used).

7. Data Retention

• Resume data sent to AI servers is automatically deleted after processing
• We do not store documents on our servers
• Support emails are kept only long enough to respond, then permanently removed

8. Children’s Privacy

AI Resume: Builder & Writer is not intended for users under 13.
We do not knowingly collect any data from children.

9. Security

We use industry-standard encryption and secure servers to protect all transmitted data.
Your resume content is never shared or sold.

10. Your Rights

You may at any time:
• Delete the app (all data stored on your device is removed)
• Contact us to delete support messages
• Decline optional analytics
• Choose not to upload a profile photo
