AIRES-Lab [Virtual Lab] is dedicated to advancing cutting-edge research at the intersection of machine learning, signal processing, and reliability engineering, with a core focus on Predictive Maintenance (PdM) and Prognostics and Health Management (PHM). The lab aims to develop scalable, generalizable, and explainable AI models that can detect early signs of degradation, forecast component failures, and optimize the maintenance strategies of complex engineering systems.
As part of the next generation of intelligent monitoring systems, the lab's work addresses real-world challenges in industrial automation, aerospace, automotive, and renewable energy sectors. AIRE-Lab integrates data-driven and physics-informed approaches to model the health dynamics of mechanical, electrical, and energy storage components under dynamic and uncertain environments.
Congratulations on the acceptance of Mr. M. P. Kumar, Jing-Wen Liang, and Mr. K.-C. J. Chen's IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement (TIM) Journal Paper. June 2025 [New]
Dr. Pavan Kumar M. P. joined MSIS, Manipal, as an Assistant Professor (Research) - April 2025.
