Welcome to the about page of Air Conditioning Home! So what is this site about?
You probably already guessed the general subject of this site from its name. But here on this page I have a chance to tell you a little of what's it's about and introduce myself (the author) as well.
My name is Gary Hollison. I'm a heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) specialist and I just love to talk and write about what I do.
Hence the creation of this site, which is unsurprisingly about the subject of air conditioning!
The general idea behind the site's creation is to share some of my knowledge with you in the hope that it might help you get a better understanding of your own home's (or office's) cooling system. That's so that you can get the best from it while also running it as economically and efficiently as possible without cutting corners or doing anything that might cause it to malfunction down the line.
Air Conditioning
I'll be covering things like air conditioning basics, smart air conditioners and even self evaporating portable AC along with other variations on the theme.
Stay tuned as I add some more pages to the site on those very topics that I hope will educate you a little in the right direction.
I aim to do that (to the best of my ability, at least) without confusing you with techno jargon and long words that need a dictionary to figure out what they mean and how to say them!
