Putting the words "air conditioning economy" together in the same phrase may sound a little non-congruent, but there are actually ways to get better efficiency out of an AC system, thereby saving some money by making its running more economical.
That's what this site is mainly about. I'm Jasper and I will freely admit that in the past, paying out huge utility bills throughout he summer used to drive me crazy.
Cutting AC Costs
So I started looking at ways to try and cut some of the cost by making my AC run more efficiently while also taking steps to make my home better suited to reducing wastage through its walls and roof. I succeeded to a certain extent and actually saw those electricity bills go down for the first time ever!
There were a number of things I tried, some of which worked while others didn't. Most of the real common sense, obvious things I tried were the ones that worked best. So it just goes to show that common sense wins out over throwing as much at the wall as you can to see what sticks!
The upshot is I discovered that there really are some ways that you can reduce AC costs by increasing efficiency, reducing wastage and being sensible about how you use the system.
