AAQMaP Phase I
Implementation aimed at prototype of the first Asia Air Quality Management Program (AAQMaP) to assist Thailand, Laos and Cambodia in their joint efforts to address regional challenges in UNDP using Direct Implementation Modality (DIM)
Integrate regional air emission inventory
Enable regional air quality modelling and forecasting
Promote regional air quality policy capabilities to enable coping regional air pollution study and management
AAQMaP Phase II
Expanding to Indonesia, Mongolia and Vietnam
Bridging the air quality information gap between Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos through the Asian Air Quality Management Program (AAQMaP) prototype.
Cultivating the ability to solve air pollution problems by integrating science-based air quality models into the environmental departments of the target countries.
Expansion and promotion of existing initiatives for air pollution management and policy measures.
WP2 Inventory - Analysis of inventory status and outlook for each country
WP4 Policy - Analysis of the status of air pollutant management policies in each country and analysis of policy scenarios using the bottom-up accounting model LEAP (Low Emissions Analysis Platform)
WP6 Workshop - Host regular workshops in Korea, Thailand, online, etc., invite AAQMaP partner researchers, and share research progress
