The APO; Para kay Lola at Lolo – Akayin ng Pagmamahal at Oras was designed with a comprehensive approach to address three primary objectives: enhancing learning, raising health awareness, and fostering community engagement. Through an in-depth examination of the demographic profile, health indicators, and overall well-being of the residents in Barangay Centro Southwest, significant focus emerged on the most vulnerable segment of the community in need of extended support and health education—the elderly population. With a clear understanding of their specific needs, our program aimed to make a meaningful impact on their lives while simultaneously contributing to the broader development of the community as a whole. By integrating education, health promotion, and community involvement, we sought to empower the elderly and create a sustainable positive change in their lives.
