Our Fleet
Fleet History:
AirAsia was originally founded in early January, on the 20th in 2019. Official operations began in 2022 originally using the famous SkyTech A320. Shortly after, we purchased new B737s to add to our fleet.
As of now, AirAsia operates a fleet of B737 and A320s, with the sister company, AirAsia X utilising A330s and A330neos.

Operational ever since 23rd of February, 2024
Brief History:
9M-AGE officially arrived into AirAsia's hands on the 16th of February 2024 as the first A320neo of AirAsia, taking it's first flight on the 23rd, from Malacca to Penang. It marked an extremely important milestone in AirAsia's fleet history as it was a new aircraft, a plane with a one of its kind state of the art technology.

Brief History:
9M-AFE is the 1st A320ceo owned by AirAsia, first spotted in mid October of 2025 and was also the plane used for the historic first KLIA2 inaugural flight.

Operational ever since 3rd of May, 2023
Brief History:
9M-AAH first arrived around August to September of 2022, the aircraft officially took it's first flight on the 3rd of May the next year. After a while in service, it was taken back to the hangars for refitting and renovations. Since then, it has recontinued operations since February 2nd, 2024.

Brief History:
9M-AAI was delivered the same day of the 67th year of Merdeka, on the 31st of August 2024. It had been used in the Merdeka flight and some few commercial flights, and until now, it is still under operation.
