Covid Conditions for SA Travel
The following 3 airlines have now confirmed that they are flying from next week to the 3 main airports in South Africa
Mango Airlines From 15 June
Safair From 15 June
CemAir From 5 June
Cape Town International
- OR Tambo
- Durban King Shaka
Safety guidelines :
– Only permitted employees who work at the airport and provide services to foreign nationals, crew and passengers are allowed in the terminal building
– Pick up and drop-offs are only permitted outside of the terminal building
– Face masks are compulsory for all persons entering the terminal building or boarding an aircraft
– Procedures consistent with the applicable COVID-19 regulations must be developed and implemented at all airports and airlines
– Passengers will be required to provide written proof of travel authorisation
– Every person entering the terminal building must be screened, those with high temperatures or signs of coronavirus will be denied entry.
– All passengers MUST carry their own PPE/Masks for the flight.
– No one who has tested positive for COVID-19 will be allowed to board the flight.
– A refund will be provided if passengers are not approved to travel or you show symptoms of COVID-19 on the day of departure.
– No pets and live animals will be allowed. However, guide dogs will be allowed.
Attached are the documents you are required to complete for the various reasons for travel.See attachment 1 which is a guideline of which form must be completed for which reason for travel

- Form 2 - Employer Permit
- Form 3A - Learner or Student Interprovincial Travel
- Form 3B - Permit to Transport Learners or Students Interprovincially
- Form 4 - Funeral Attendance
- Form 6- Sworn Affidavit to travel to another Province moving residence
