Air Cleaner (“Air Cleaner”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is provided by Shaanxi Hongsheng Fuyuan Trading Co., Ltd. This Privacy Policy explains how Air Cleaner accesses, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our Android application.
If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the app.
1. Summary
Air Cleaner is a phone cleaning and utility app. Its core features, including junk cleaning, large file cleaning, screenshot cleaning, video compression, battery information, app management, notification cleaning, and network traffic display, are designed to run locally on your device.
Air Cleaner does not sell your personal information. Air Cleaner does not use third-party advertising SDKs or analytics SDKs in the current version. Air Cleaner does not upload your files, photos, videos, notifications, installed app list, usage data, or cleaning scan results to our servers.
The only time you may send information outside the app is when you choose to contact us, such as by using the Feedback feature, which opens your email app.
2. Information the app may access
Depending on the features you use and the permissions you grant, Air Cleaner may access the following information on your device:
Files, photos, videos, and storage information
Air Cleaner may scan local device storage to find junk files, large files, screenshots, APK files, thumbnails, cache-like files, empty folders, and videos. This is used to show scan results and allow you to choose what to delete or compress.
Files are processed locally on your device. We do not upload these files to our servers.
Installed apps and app usage information
If you use App Management, Air Cleaner may access installed app information, such as app name, package name, app icon, app size, and uninstall intent information.
If you grant Usage Access, Air Cleaner may access app usage information, such as last used time and usage-related data, to display app management and traffic information. This information is processed locally.
Notification information
If you enable Notification Access, Air Cleaner may read active notification information so it can group and help clean notifications. Notification information may include the app that posted the notification and visible notification text/title provided by Android.
Notification information is processed locally on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.
Network traffic information
Air Cleaner may display network traffic usage information available through Android system APIs, including total, Wi-Fi, mobile, or app-related traffic where supported by the device and Android version. This information is processed locally.
Battery and device status information
Air Cleaner may read battery level, charging status, temperature, voltage, battery technology, storage capacity, memory information, and similar device status information to display device utility pages. This information is processed locally.
Feedback email
If you choose to send feedback, Air Cleaner opens your email app. Your email address, message content, attachments you choose to include, and other information handled by your email provider may be sent to us. We use this information only to respond to your feedback, provide support, fix issues, and improve the app.
3. How we use information
Air Cleaner uses information only for the following purposes:
• To scan and display junk files, large files, screenshots, videos, and app cache size.
• To allow you to delete selected files or clear app cache.
• To compress videos you select.
• To show storage, battery, app management, notification, and network traffic information.
• To provide quick entry and ongoing protection notifications when enabled.
• To remember local app state, such as cumulative cleaned junk size and first-launch guide completion.
• To respond to feedback emails you choose to send.
• To maintain, troubleshoot, and improve app functionality.
4. Data sharing
Air Cleaner does not sell your personal information.
Air Cleaner does not share your files, scan results, installed app list, app usage data, notifications, or traffic data with us or third parties.
Information may be shared only in the following cases:
• You choose to send feedback through your email app.
• You choose to share the app download link through Android’s system share sheet.
• Sharing is required by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable government request.
• Sharing is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or security of users, the app, or others.
5. Data storage and retention
Most information accessed by Air Cleaner is processed locally and is not sent to us.
Air Cleaner may store limited local app data on your device, such as:
• Cumulative cleaned junk size.
• First-launch guide completion status.
• Daily feature usage indicators.
• App cache and temporary files.
• Local notification-cleaning state where needed for the feature.
This local data remains on your device unless you clear the app data, clear cache, uninstall the app, or use applicable in-app cleanup functions.
Feedback emails you send to us may be retained as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, provide support, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and improve the app.
6. Permissions
Air Cleaner may request or use the following Android permissions or system access depending on your device and selected features:
• Storage or all files access: used to scan and clean junk files, large files, screenshots, APK files, thumbnails, and similar local files.
• Photos/videos/media access on supported Android versions: used for screenshot and video-related features.
• Query installed apps: used for App Management and app-related utility features.
• Usage Access: used to show app usage, last used information, app management information, and traffic-related information.
• Notification Access: used for Notification Cleaner.
• Post notifications: used to show app notifications and quick entry notifications.
• Foreground service, wake lock, boot completed, and exact alarm-related access: used to support quick entry, persistent utility notification, and app activation/refresh behavior where enabled.
• Network state access: used to display network status or traffic-related information.
You can revoke permissions at any time in Android system settings. Some features may not work or may show empty results if the required permission is not granted.
7. Security
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the nature of the app. Since the app’s core scan and cleaning features are processed locally, sensitive content such as your files and notifications is not transmitted to our servers by the app.
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. Please use caution when sending feedback emails or sharing files through other apps.
8. Children’s privacy
Air Cleaner is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through feedback or another channel, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
9. Your choices and controls
You can:
• Decline or revoke permissions in Android settings.
• Delete selected files only when you choose to do so in the app.
• Clear Air Cleaner’s app cache.
• Clear Air Cleaner’s app data through Android settings.
• Uninstall Air Cleaner to remove locally stored app data.
• Contact us to request deletion of feedback emails or support messages you sent to us, subject to legal and operational requirements.
10. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where required, provide additional notice.
Your continued use of Air Cleaner after the updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means you accept the updated policy.
