Privacy Policy for AI Pushups Counter

This privacy policy outlines the practices for the Pushup Counter mobile application (the "App") developed by AlvisPushups (the "Developer").

Your privacy is a top priority. This app was designed to be a private, on-device tool.

1. The Data We Use

This App has two types of data that it uses: Camera Data and Locally Stored App Data.

A) Camera Data (The Most Important Part)

• Permission: The App requests android.permission.CAMERA (Camera Permission).

• Why? This permission is only used to detect your face in real-time. The App measures the pixel distance between your eyes to automatically count your pushups.

• What We Do NOT Do:

  • The App DOES NOT record, save, or store any video or photos from your camera.

  • The App DOES NOT transmit any data from your camera over the internet.

  • All face detection and processing happens 100% on your device and is discarded immediately after being used to count the rep. Your face never leaves your phone.

B) Locally Stored App Data

To make the app work, we save a small amount of data only on your device in the app's private storage (SharedPreferences). We do not collect or see this data.

This data includes:

• Your Settings: The custom "up" and "down" distances you set for counting.

• Your Language: The language you selected from the dropdown menu.

• Your Progress: Your daily pushup counts and your grand total, which are used to populate the "Progress" screen.

You can delete your progress data at any time by using the "Clean History" button inside the app. All of this data is also completely deleted if you uninstall the app.

2. Data Sharing

We DO NOT share any of your data with anyone.

The App does not connect to any servers, does not use any third-party analytics, and does not include any advertising. All of your information (both camera data and saved progress) stays on your phone.

3. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy in the future if we add new features (like online backups or ads). If we do, we will update this policy and notify users.
