Thank you for choosing to use Privacy Blur Editor (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy.
The core feature of Privacy Blur Editor is to edit and blur sensitive information in your photos.
All photo processing, including AI face detection and text recognition, happens entirely locally on your device (offline).
We do not upload, store, collect, view, or share any of your photos, images, or the text within them to our servers or any third-party cloud. Your photos remain strictly yours and stay on your device unless you explicitly choose to share them using the Android system share menu.
While we do not collect your photos or personal data, the App integrates third-party services that may collect certain technical information to provide their features:
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements (Banners, Interstitials, and Rewarded Ads). AdMob may collect and use technical data—such as your device's Advertising ID, IP address, and basic usage data—to serve personalized ads and measure ad performance.
We use OneSignal to send you push notifications (such as app updates or tips). If you grant notification permissions, OneSignal may collect your device push token, IP address, and limited device identifiers to deliver these messages efficiently.
The App utilizes Google Play Services and Firebase to collect anonymous usage data (e.g., app opens, ad impressions) and crash reports. This data helps us identify bugs and improve the app's performance. It does not contain personally identifiable information (PII) or any content from your photos.
To function correctly, the App requests the following permissions on your device:
Photos / Media / Storage: Required to let you select photos from your gallery for editing, and to save the blurred photos back to your device.
Notifications (Android 13+): Required to send you push notifications (strictly opt-in).
You can revoke these permissions at any time through your Android device's settings.
Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
