AI and Platform Evolution: Business Perspectives and Policy Implications

Hosted by Emory University's Goizueta Business School and co-sponsored by the USC Marshall Initiative on Digital Competition and Emory Economics.

The simultaneous evolution of AI and digital platforms is reshaping competition, innovation, and market structure in ways that challenge traditional regulatory and business frameworks. This conference brings together leading scholars from law, economics, finance, and information systems to examine how these transformative technologies interact, what distinguishes this era from previous technological revolutions, and how policy can promote these innovations while also addressing the risks and challenges that they introduce to market competition and social welfare.
