AI in Physical Sciences: Toward a Unified Approach for Physics and Geophysics
The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the physical sciences is opening new frontiers in scientific discovery. From physics to geophysics, researchers are increasingly turning to AI and machine learning to model complex systems, analyze vast datasets, and explore phenomena across multiple scales. Yet, despite shared challenges, these disciplines often evolve in parallel with limited methodological exchange.
This workshop aims to build a bridge between these scientific communities by fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration. We will explore how modern AI techniques — from physics-informed neural networks to graph-based models — can be effectively applied to the grand challenges of physical sciences. Join us in Rome for a unique event dedicated to the convergence of AI, physics, and geoscience research.
