Introduction
This Privacy Policy governs your use of the "HomeWork Helper Ai Math Solver Easy Pic Solver" mobile application (the "App"). We prioritize your privacy and operate under strict data minimization principles. The App requires an internet connection to solve math problems because AI processing occurs on secure cloud servers. Importantly, we do not store personal data, associate your identity with processed content, or share information with third parties.
Data Processing and Usage
When you submit a math problem via photo, the image is temporarily transmitted to our secure cloud servers exclusively for AI-based solution generation. These images contain no personally identifiable information (such as your name, email, or location) and are immediately deleted from our servers after processing—typically within seconds. Voice inputs are processed entirely on your device using Apple's built-in speech recognition; they are never uploaded to any server. User-generated data like accuracy percentages and streaks are stored locally on your device using Apple's CoreData/SwiftData framework and remain exclusively on your device.
Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not share any data with advertisers, analytics services, or third-party companies. Our cloud servers are dedicated solely to mathematical processing and never retain, monetize, or repurpose submitted content. The App contains no advertising, tracking scripts, or behavioral profiling mechanisms.
User Control and Transparency
All permissions (Camera, Microphone) are disabled by default and require your explicit consent. You may revoke these permissions anytime through your iOS device settings under Privacy & Security. When internet processing is active, a lightning bolt icon ("⚡") visibly indicates cloud-based solving. If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data (e.g., streaks, settings) is automatically and permanently erased.
Security Measures
Data transmitted to our servers is protected by TLS 1.3 encryption during transit. Locally stored data leverages Apple's Data Protection API for hardware-level encryption. Our servers undergo regular security audits and purge all processed images immediately after generating solutions—no backups or archives are maintained.
Children’s Privacy
The App complies with Apple’s Family Sharing guidelines and the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Since we collect zero personal data, no age restrictions or parental consent mechanisms are required. Parents may disable camera/microphone access for the App using iOS Screen Time controls.
Policy Updates
Material changes to this policy will be summarized in App Store update notes and displayed within the App for 7 days post-update. Continued use of the App after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
