Aina Finder respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is used when you use the Aina Finder iPhone app.
LOCATION AND COMPASS DATA
Aina Finder uses your device's location and heading information to calculate the direction, bearing, and distance to the Hawaiian island you select.
Location and heading access are used to provide the core compass functionality of the app.
You can change or revoke location permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
WEATHER, SUNRISE, AND SUNSET INFORMATION
Aina Finder retrieves weather, sunrise, and sunset information for supported Hawaiian islands in order to display current island conditions within the app.
LIVE CAMS AND THIRD-PARTY CONTENT
When you choose to open a Live Cam, Aina Finder may open content provided by a third-party website or service.
Those third-party services operate independently from Aina Finder and may have their own privacy policies and data practices.
NOTIFICATIONS
If you enable Golden Hour Alerts, Aina Finder uses Apple's notification system to provide sunrise and sunset reminders.
Notification permissions can be changed or revoked at any time in iOS Settings.
ACCOUNTS
Aina Finder does not require you to create an account or sign in to use the app.
DATA STORAGE
Aina Finder does not operate a user account system or maintain personal user profiles.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Aina Finder is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
This Privacy Policy may be updated as Aina Finder evolves. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
 Aina Finder does not maintain user accounts or a developer-operated database of personal user information. Location and heading information used for compass functionality is not retained by Aina Finder. Because Aina Finder does not maintain personal user profiles or stored personal data, there is no account data to delete.
