Currently, I'm expanding my skills by learning how to navigate Photoshop and practicing more graphic skills. I am familiar with illustration softwares such as ClipStudioPaint, Medibang, Krita, Sketch, etc. and Canva, but I also wanted to be more proficient in Photoshop and more of it's related softwares.
For my internship, I was a Graphic Designer Intern in a muslimah hijab company [ MARYAM KHADIJAH ] in penang. I mainly used Canva but also delved into a bit of Photoshop and Illustrator when I was designing pricetags, wish card and Sampul Raya. You can check out my internship work riiiight HERE .
I started off with a simple lighting practice, which was to make the light radiating from the lantern.
Disclaimer: all original pictures I used for my practice were from pinterest and not mine.
I also made a spotlight version just to experiment with the technique.

I then started to try out filter effects from tutorials on youtube, which helped me better understand the functions and how to play around with the settings of the filter as well as how to combine them together to make something cool.
In this one, I mainly tried out the warp technique in the background, as well as learned how to select subject and adding and subtracting so that the subject would be properly selected.
I also learned about blending options, converting the layers to smart filters or objects to better apply them.
After making the warp and picking out the gradient map, I started to play around with overlaying colours and adjusting hues or saturations on the pretty lady to make her blend in with the background.
I also learned how to do a simple skin retouching by making a new texture and then masking it over the original texture.
I also had experiences with commissions for Logos and Livestream chat stickers when I was in high school.
This was a logo made for an Islamic treatment clinic that included Bekam and acupuncture. I was commissioned to make it look cool as requested by the client, and after some discussion and sketches they chose one where it looks like a hitman with two tools used for Bekam.
It was even used on their work uniforms, in this example it's on one of the Muslimah version on the bottom of the blouse.
This was a logo for a small perfume business That was starting up. I had no further contact with the client :(
This was made as a request from my sister who worked in a clinic. She wanted me to help make a small comic/graphic for the scaling process.
In high school, since I was a moderator for a livestreamer Lilura Gaming, I was also in charge in making graphics, her character and also live stickers.
Through being Lilura's moderator, I've made connections with other streamers and one of them reached out to commission me for a sticker pack for her own livestream chat.
This wasn't a commission, but I had learned how to do typography in one of my university classes where we learned about fonts, colours, posters and more.
