Hyoil Han
Hyoil Han is an associate professor at Illinois State University. She is an active researcher in Data Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Semantics, Natural Language Processing, Data Management, and High Performance Computing for Big Data. She co-organized and was a co-chair of the technical track “The Semantic Web and Applications” and Semantic Technology in ACM SAC 2007-2024.

Simon S. Woo
Simon S. Woo is currently an associate professor at Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea. Also, he is a department chair at the Applied Data Science Department. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Univ. of Southern California (USC), Los Angeles, M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), and B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington (UW), Seattle. He was a technical staff (technologist) member for 9 years at NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab (JPL), Pasadena, CA, conducting research in satellite communications, networking, and cybersecurity areas. Since 2017, he was a tenure-track Assistant Professor at SUNY, South Korea, and a Research Assistant Professor at Stony Brook University. He has published several top conference papers in AAAI, IJCAI, KDD, WWW, CVPR, ICCV, ICML, etc. He has been a technical program committee member for CCS, WWW, KDD, AAAI, CVPR, WACV, AsiaCCS, CoNext, and SOUPS. His research interests are anomaly detection, and security issues with AI.

Il-Yeol Song
Il-Yeol Song is a professor in the College of Computing and Informatics of Drexel University. He served as Deputy Director of NSF-sponsored research center on Visual & Decision Informatics (CVDI) between 2012-2014. He is an ACM Distinguished Scientist and an ER Fellow. He is the recipient of the 2015 Peter P. Chen Award in Conceptual Modeling. Dr. Song published over 230 peer-reviewed papers in data management areas. He is a co-Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Computing Science and Engineering (JCSE) and a Consulting Editor for Data and Knowledge Engineering. He won the Best Paper Award in the IEEE CIBCB 2004 and the 2017 DKE Best Paper Award. He won four teaching awards from Drexel, including the most prestigious Lindback Distinguished Teaching Award. He delivered a keynote speech at six international conferences, including the First Asia-Pacific iSchool Conference in 2014, ACM SAC 2015 conference, ER2015 Conference, EDB 2016, A-LIEP 2016 and DEXA 2018. Dr. Song served as the Steering Committee chair of the ER conference between 2010-2012 and IEEE BigComp during 2019-2021. He also served as the leading co-chair of the Model Data Science Curriculum Committee for iSchool Consortium.
Youjin Shin
Youjin Shin is an assistant professor in the Department of Data Science and the Department of Artificial Intelligence at the Catholic University of Korea, South Korea. She received her Ph.D. and M.S. in the computer science department from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, USA. She also received her M.B.A. in IT and media management from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and her B.S. in computer science from Ewha Womans University, South Korea. She has published several research papers in WWW, KDD, CIKM, SAC, Applied Soft Computing, etc., working on AI-driven data science and anomaly detection for image and multivariate data. Recently, he has conducted research on the application of AI with Korea's Supreme Prosecutors' Office and is also researching the application of AI to satellites, semiconductors, and medical data.
