Adway Mitra
Adway Mitra is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Centre of Excellence in AI, IIT Kharagpur. He received his PhD in 2016 from Indian Institute of Science Bangalore, after which he carried out post-doctoral research in ICTS-TIFR, Bangalore till February 2018. Adway specializes in Machine Learning, and its applications in the domain of climate and earth sciences, and remote sensing, and also in modeling of complex social and physical processes. Among Machine Learning methods, he focuses on Bayesian and generative models, and agent-based modeling. He has developed teaching contents for several courses related to his areas of interest.

Tirthankar Dasgupta
Tirthankar Dasgupta is a senior scientist at TCS Research India working in the Decision Intelligence group, Kolkata. He holds a Ph.D. in computer science from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He is also associated with various academic institutes such as Ashoka University, Jadavpur University, IIT Kharagpur and IIIT Kalyani as adjunct (guest) faculty. His research interests span natural language processing, computational psycholinguistics, machine learning and human computer interaction. He has organized a number of conferences, workshops and tutorials in the area of Language, Cognition and Computation domain.

Sanjay Chatterjee
Sanjay Chatterji has received B.Tech. from Computer Science and Engineering department of Haldia Institute of Technology, West Bengal, India and M.E. from Computer Science and Technology department of Bengal Engineering and Science University Shibpur (now IIEST), India and Ph.D. from Computer Science and Engineering department of Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Indian Institute of Information Technology Kalyani, India since 2017. Prior to that he was Technical Lead in Samsung R&D Institute Bangalore for 4 years. He is leading the project on AI in Agriculture and Food Sustainability project sponsored by MeitY, Govt. of India.
