RCMI Genomics Data Core
Introduction
The Genomics Data Core was established by Meharry's RCMI program in September 2022, with Dr. Qingguo Wang as Director, to support large-scale next-generation sequencing (NGS) studies and enhance RCMI’s research capabilities.
This core supports basic, clinical, and translational research with state-of-the-art, comprehensive NGS-focused services, professional training and consultation. The core also aims to remove barriers between big genomic data and users by simplifying AI/ML, data mining and visualization through development of genomic databases and data-access portal.
