I'm Ajith Fernando, originally from Sri Lanka, long lived in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and currently Living in New Brunswick, Canada.

Working in the aviation industry for the past 17 years dealing with different cross-cultural, cross-functional departments in the airport such as terminal operations, flight operations & airside operations. Having qualified with excellent customer service, leadership and strategic planning with regard to operational demands would be the ideal strength I can explain in short.

I obtained my Aviation Ground Handling Diploma and Aviation Security Management Diploma from Edith Cowan University and I've completed my Masters in Business Administration from the University of Suffolk in the UK in May 2024.

I'm a qualified First Aider, Occupational Health & Safety Professional, A Life Coach and an Aerodrome Emergency responder who is willing to obtain my fire warden qualification soon.

My work ethics are not limited to day-in, day-out functions as most of the cooperate figures. I've worked under 40-50 degrees Celsius of extreme heat exposure throughout the day shift and 75 to 90% of humid conditions during the night which continue for 6 consecutive months throughout the year (Life in Dubai).

Well, that's not the matter if you have the will and courage. What most important thing is to keep my focus ensuring no mistakes, rules are followed, safety and security of passengers and assets are assured even when the critical challenging events.

I always witness these moments by being a role model to others.

My dedication to Aviation Industry is not stopping at workplace, during my leisure I do research about aviation trends, information, news and the latest technology to educate myself and I produce my own social media content to bring awareness to the young and energetic aviation enthusiast community.

I can also define myself as a startup entrepreneur who built a conceptual drone system that eliminates airside congestion which ultimately leads to a greener airside environment. Moreover, I’m currently working on another 2 startup projects for passenger handing and an automated aircraft chocking system. And there's more to come...
