Get a glimpse at our co-created prompt library.
We will be sharing some of the prompts submitted here and sharing out a full library of prompts after the promptathon.
To inspire your prompting, we're presenting a selection of the prompts we've received so far.

The prompt
Please construct a proposal for a medical education research certificate program. The proposal should provide a rationale for the program as well as brief program description. The proposal should describe sessions that progress through background on medical education research through dissemination of research.
Can you briefly describe which changes/tweaks have changed your prompt? How many iterations did it take you to get to this point?
I actually received a solid plan with the first prompt. For others that focus on developing NBME style questions, various tweaks were made for what to include, numbers of items, level of trainee being assessed. It was a process.

For example, is the information factually correct? Is there any inherited bias from the training data?
In working with content experts, some of the MCQs developed were off a bit. However, it was well worth doing as it provided a great framework from which to build off of for an accurate assessment item.

What does your prompt aim to do?
We tried several prompts. The ones related to med ed, we asked bing AI to generate a curriculum on climate change for US medical students. The second prompt aimed to have it generate a parallel clinical curriculum.

Can you briefly describe which changes/tweaks have changed your prompt? How many iterations did it take you to get to this point?
We had 2-3 iterations of the prompt to focus it in on seasonal allergies as the example and also to reference peer-reviewed literature.

I didn't check the references but it did provide logical responses based on my knowledge of the topic.

The prompt
Design a collaborative case-based learning activity for second year medical students with dyspnea as the presenting symptom and a differential diagnosis of myocardial infarction, pulmonary embolism and gastroesophageal reflux disease
Can you briefly describe which changes/tweaks have changed your prompt? How many iterations did it take you to get to this point?
I went through nine prompts before I was satisfied with this. Following were the prompts I used after the initial prompt:
Design a collaborative case-based learning activity for second year medical students with dyspnea as the presenting symptom and a differential diagnosis of myocardial infarction, pulmonary embolism and gastroesophageal reflux disease
Okay, this looks good. Please develop the case
Provide questions that can be asked to students
Refine this activity and questions to give students pointers on errors in clinical reasoning
Include questions that also require learners to demonstrate an understanding of the pathophysiology of the signs and symptoms
Apply constructivist learning theory to this activity
What learning objectives would be appropriate for this case?
Tweak the case to include communication & interpersonal skills as well as ethics discussion
Refine the case to incorporate the above

Will need the insight of an SME to avoid errors and ensure the activity is designed at learner level.

What does your prompt aim to do?
Create abstracts from full text articles
Which AI system have you designed your prompt for?

The prompt
Write a 100 word abstract for this article:
<paste text from article in>
Can you briefly describe which changes/tweaks have changed your prompt? How many iterations did it take you to get to this point?
I started with simply 'write a summary of this text'. This returned an extremely long summary. I then tried with 250-word and 100-word. I tried this prompt with the words summary and abstract. I recommend trying with both or asking the system to 'try again please' to get the most robust results. From there cobble together as you like.

For example, is the information factually correct? Is there any inherited bias from the training data?
The results are correct and largely pulled directly from the first sentence of each paragraph within the text. Often a few words are changed.

Create a class outline for 50 minute time limit that covers information literacy for first year health professional students and include where it fits in Bloom's taxonomy.
Can you briefly describe which changes/tweaks have changed your prompt? How many iterations did it take you to get to this point?
This was the first iteration.

For example, is the information factually correct? Is there any inherited bias from the training data?
The connections to Bloom's Taxonomy need to be evaluated for correctness. No inherited bias appeared to be present in either version, Bing Chat or Claude 2.

Can you briefly describe which changes/tweaks have changed your prompt? How many iterations did it take you to get to this point?
The idea of context was actually added due to the linked website as an iteration. The output without this part was reasonable on the first iteration
