The AIIP Lab is continuously offering opportunities for talented people joining our research team. We encourage you to contact us for not only graduate admissions with research assistantship but also postdoctoral opportunities. We also offer opportunities of internship for talented undergraduate students so that they can have preliminary research experience.
Please feel free to contact us for more information.
The AIIP Lab (Artificial Intelligence and Image Processing Laboratory) at Sun Moon University, Republic of Korea, is looking for an exceptional and creative postdoctoral researcher to join the AIIPasa Project, which aims to develop personalized anti-snoring oral devices based on 3D dental reconstructions from mobile imagery. This position will lead research into state-of-the-art neural 3D reconstruction techniques, particularly under the constraints and challenges of using only smartphone cameras. While the primary goal is to reconstruct 3D dental geometry from monocular RGB images, we are also exploring the use of ToF sensors, Apple’s TrueDepth, and low-cost physical aids (e.g., intraoral mirrors) to address severe occlusion of intraoral surfaces—an anticipated challenge in this project.
