Welcome to AI Interview Pro. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application (the "App"). 1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the App, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products, or otherwise when you interact with the App.

• Account Information: When you sign in using Apple (Sign in with Apple), we collect your associated identifiers (User ID) and basic profile information (such as your name and email address, if permitted by you) to create and secure your account.

• Audio Data (Microphone): The core functionality of the App involves voice-based mock interviews. We request access to your device's microphone to capture your voice input during these interview sessions.

• Camera Data: We request camera access to support the underlying real-time communication engines and frameworks used in the App, as well as to prepare for potential future video interview features. Note: We do not currently record, store, or transmit your video feed.

• Professional Data: We collect information you provide regarding your career, such as your target job role (e.g., iOS Developer, Product Manager) and experience level, to tailor the AI interview questions to your specific needs.

• Purchase Data: If you purchase consumable packages or subscriptions, the transaction is handled by Apple and our revenue management partner (RevenueCat). We do not collect or store your raw credit card numbers or financial details. We only store a record of your purchases and entitlements.

2. How We Use Your Information

Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the App to:

• Create and manage your account.

• Generate personalized AI interview personas and tailored technical questions.

• Process your voice input in real-time to simulate a conversation and provide actionable feedback on your technical depth, clarity, and tone.

• Process in-app purchases and track your consumable usage (e.g., interview minutes).

• Monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve the App's performance and user experience (UX).

• Resolve troubleshooting issues and respond to customer service requests.

3. Disclosure of Your Information

We may share information we have collected about you in certain situations. Your information may be disclosed as follows:

• Third-Party Service Providers: We share your information with third parties that perform services for us or on our behalf, including data analysis, payment processing (RevenueCat), database hosting (Supabase), and Artificial Intelligence processing.

• AI and Voice Processing Partners: To simulate real-time interviews, your audio input and text transcripts are securely transmitted to our AI infrastructure partners (such as Vapi.ai and OpenAI). These services are utilized strictly for processing the interview and generating feedback.

• By Law or to Protect Rights: If we believe the release of information about you is necessary to respond to legal process, to investigate or remedy potential violations of our policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others.

4. Data Retention and Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. Your account data and interview history are securely stored in our backend infrastructure. You can request the deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Once a deletion request is received, your identifiers and interview history will be permanently removed from our active databases.

5. Policy for Children

The App is designed for professionals and individuals preparing for the workforce. We do not knowingly solicit information from or market to children under the age of 17. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 17 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in order to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will alert you about any changes by updating the "Effective Date" of this Privacy Policy. You are encouraged to periodically review this Privacy Policy to stay informed of updates.
