REGISTRATION COMMITTEE
I volunteered as part of the registration committee during my foundation studies, collaborating closely with the Imasjid higher-ups over a period of two and a half days. This opportunity not only allowed me to contribute actively to the organization but also pushed me out of my comfort zone. Interacting with a wide array of people from fellow volunteers to participants was a rewarding challenge. It helped me develop crucial interpersonal skills and taught me the importance of effective communication and teamwork in achieving common goals. Overall, it was a fulfilling experience that broadened my perspectives and strengthened my commitment to making meaningful contributions within my community.
PROP COMMITTEE
I was actively involved in the academic theatre production "Animal Farm" as part of the props committee. It was a demanding yet rewarding experience, especially during the late nights spent setting up the props. Working collaboratively within our group, we were responsible for creating several items including a 3D barn, two knives, grass decorations, and fences. On the day of the theatre performance, we positioned ourselves discreetly at the back of the stage, ensuring that all props were in place and ready for the scenes. This role not only enhanced my organizational and teamwork skills but also deepened my appreciation for the behind-the-scenes efforts that contribute to a successful theatrical production.
TADIKA IMAN PAGOH JAYA
I took an initiative by proposing and visiting Tadika Iman Pagoh Jaya to collaborate on an SDG project centered around recycling. It was both enjoyable and challenging to engage with the energetic kids. We spent a fulfilling day together, decorating boxes to create recycle bins and participating in lively sing-alongs and dance activities. This hands-on experience not only promoted environmental awareness but also underscored the significance of education and community involvement in fostering sustainable practices.
TADIKA PERPADUAN CELIK ILMU
Another memorable collaboration involved working with children from Tadika Eduhub Pagoh. Our group, consisting of four members, organized an engaging experiment following a series of tiring activities by a previous group. Despite the initial exhaustion, we embarked on an experiment using baking soda, balloons, and bottles to demonstrate scientific principles in a fun and interactive way. Handling the children proved challenging yet rewarding, as their lively spirits pushed us to adapt and find creative ways to keep them engaged. This experience highlighted the importance of adaptability and enthusiasm when working with young learners.
I participated in and won a video competition where proficiency in spoken German was required. Subsequently, I was invited for an interview at the Goethe Institute for consideration in the Student Exchange Program in Germany.
