Panel Discussion on 'Applying AI to Improve Public Health Outcomes'

The NGO ARMMAN led by Dr. Aparna Hegde is a part of one of the 6 projects from the AI4SG program in 2020. We have been working with ARMMAN to help improve the effectiveness of their mobile based intervention ‘mMitra’ aimed at targeted preventive care during pregnancy and infancy in under-served communities. The research team developed novel AI models for targeted intervention resulting in fewer beneficiaries dropping out of the program. The team successfully tested the model and handed over the software to ARMMAN on the 2nd of September,2021 for the technology to be scaled to more people. To mark the successful transition of the software to ARMMAN, we organised a panel discussion on ‘Applying AI to Improve Public Health Outcomes’.
