David Byrd

David is an assistant professor of computer science at Bowdoin College. His current teaching electives include artificial intelligence and financial machine learning. David holds a PhD in Computer Science from Georgia Tech, where he studied multi-agent systems and artificial intelligence in financial markets. His current research focus is responsible AI for financial markets. Prior to grad school, David spent around fifteen years in industry as a software developer and manager.
