This Privacy Policy governs the data processing practices of AI Face Swap ("App", "we", "us", or "our"). It explains how and why we collect, store, use, and share your information when you use our mobile application and related services ("Services").
We collect information that you provide to us, information collected automatically when you use our Services, and information related to the core functionality of the App (AI video generation).
Support & Feedback Communications: If you contact us via email at vidoverse.support@gmail.com for support or feedback, we collect your email address, message contents, and any metadata attached to the email (such as device OS version and app version).
To utilize our AI video creation, face-swap, and image-to-video templates, you may upload photos from your device’s photo library or capture images using your device’s camera.
We collect only the image or photo that you voluntarily provide for the purpose of generating the requested video content. We do not collect, generate, store, or share biometric identifiers, faceprints, facial templates, or other extracted biometric data used to identify an individual.
No Biometric Extraction: We do not collect, extract, or store any biometric data, unique face prints, or mathematical face templates that can be used to identify you.
Planned Uses: The uploaded image is used strictly to render the personalized video based on the template you select. We use AI processing to merge the image elements (including face alignment) into the video template. Uploaded face images are not used to train AI models, improve machine learning models, perform facial recognition, or identify individuals.
This app does not use any third-party AI service (e.g., OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic). All content generation is powered by our own in-house AI models, hosted entirely on our own servers.
No user data is shared with or processed by any external third-party AI provider. User messages are sent only to our own backend solely to generate in-app chat responses, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Data Retention & Storage: Uploaded photos and processed face files are stored temporarily on our secure servers and are permanently and automatically deleted within twenty-four (24) hours of successful video rendering. We do not store or keep your source photos permanently.
When you use our Services, certain information is collected automatically:
Device Identifiers: We collect your device's UDID/Device ID (standardized secure identifier) for authentication, account credit management, and to prevent fraud.
Usage & Log Data: We log your activities within the app, such as video generation requests, templates viewed, subscription status, and performance diagnostics.
Analytics & Ads: We use Firebase Analytics and third-party advertising SDKs to track app performance, traffic patterns, and deliver in-app advertisements. These services collect non-identifiable device details, IP addresses, and generalized location data.
We process your information for purposes based on legitimate business interests, the fulfillment of our contract with you, compliance with our legal obligations, and/or your consent. Specifically, we use the information to:
Deliver AI Video Generation Services: To upload, crop, process, and render the face-swap/image-to-video effects you request.
Account Authentication: To identify your account using your device ID and track your credit balance and Premium subscription status.
Customer Support: To diagnose issues, reply to support emails, and improve the app’s user experience.
Ad Delivery & Analytics: To display advertisements (including personalized ads where permitted) and analyze usage metrics to optimize app features.
We only share information with your consent or in the following situations:
Advertising and Analytics Partners: We share anonymous device identifiers and event logs with mobile advertising networks and analytics tools (such as Firebase) to analyze usage and serve ads.
Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, government inquiry, or to protect the safety and rights of our users.
User Images and Face Data: As detailed in Section 1B, all source images and temporary processing face data are automatically deleted from our servers within 24 hours after the video generation process is completed.
Account and Device ID Data: We retain your device identifier, subscription status, and usage logs as long as the App is installed on your device or as necessary to fulfill the business purposes outlined in this policy (e.g., managing credit balances).
We implement appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures, including HTTPS encryption, to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, please remember that no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed 100% secure, so you should only access the Services within a secure environment.
Our Terms and Conditions strictly prohibit the creation, upload, or sharing of any offensive, defamatory, or objectionable content. Users must agree to these terms before using the app. Any violation of these rules is strictly prohibited, and failure to comply may result in the immediate suspension or termination of your account.
Our Services are not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under age 13, we will delete that information immediately.
