Introduction
This workflow explores how AI tools can support architectural concept development from early idea generation to visualization and presentation. Multiple AI systems were used to investigate how AI improves efficiency while maintaining human decision-making throughout the design process.
Goal
Design a sustainable community library inspired by nature and daylight.

Used to create presentation boards, diagrams, and visual layouts for clear communication of the design process and outcomes.
The workflow follows a logical sequence that mirrors a real architectural design process. Research is conducted first to gather information about sustainable library design principles, environmental strategies, and user needs. This information forms the foundation for concept development.
Using the research findings, AI-assisted concept generation is used to develop design ideas, spatial strategies, and a concept statement inspired by nature and daylight. The concept is then translated into visual form through AI image-generation tools, allowing rapid exploration of architectural possibilities.
Once visual concepts are produced, BIM and performance analysis tools are used to evaluate daylight access, natural ventilation, and sustainability performance. The results help identify strengths and weaknesses in the proposed design.
Based on the analysis, refinements are made to improve building performance, functionality, and user experience. Finally, the design process and outcomes are organized into presentation materials for communication and documentation.
Throughout the workflow, human judgment remains essential for evaluating AI-generated outputs, selecting appropriate solutions, and making final design decisions. AI assists the process, but the architect maintains control over the project's direction and quality.
One-Sentence Version :
Research informs concept development; concepts generate visualizations; visualizations are tested through analysis; analysis guides refinements; refined designs are presented and evaluated before final architectural decisions are made.
