Vinay is an Associate Professor in the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, and the School of Liberal Arts & Sciences at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala, India. He received PhD degree in 2009 from Jaypee Univ of Info Tech. His areas of research are Artificial Intelligence, Image and Video Processing. He has published many papers in various journals and conferences. He worked with Grupo de Procesado Multimedia prior to joining Thapar.

Rahul received the engineering degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Technical University, Bhopal, India, and the Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Signal Processing from the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Jabalpur, India, in 2009 and 2016, respectively. Since late 2016, he has been working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Thapar University, Patiala, India. His research interests include Biomedical Signal and Image processing, Soft Computing techniques and Brain Computer Interface.

He has published many papers in journals of international repute. His research interests include Image processing, Microwave Engineering and Artificial Intelligence.
