CALL FOR BOOK CHAPTERS

Artificial Intelligence in Cyber Physical Systems:

Principles and Applications

Submission Guidelines

Academicians are invited to submit on or before 31st July 2021, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project. All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.

About the book

Artificial Intelligence and IoT is the basis of the next industrial revolution. IoT is a worldwide network based on standard communication protocols, and it applies various technologies to gather and provide observation data from the physical world. AI when blended with IoT, it means the connected devices can analyze data and make decisions for the betterment of life. IoT is a technique where thousands of sensors are sensing the environment and offers a stream of data and this data is analyzed for making intelligent decisions. There are so many lives changing AI-enabled IoT applications like home automation, smart cities, emotional analysis, etc. Therefore, AI and IoT when combined will achieve greater digital transformation.

Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) is an emerging computing concept that opened many domains of research for academicians and industries. It is the integration of Computation and Communication and control to achieve the desired performance of physical devices or processes. Apart from these fundamentals components, it includes smart sensors, cloud, big data, Internet of Things, and modern computing environments along with advances in Artificial Intelligence techniques. The tremendous growth in internet-based technologies and applications gives a new dimension to many industries to utilize the cyber workspace in a distributed manner for conduct efficient and effective way daily works with any geographical location barrier.

The CPS brings advances in personalized health care, traffic management, emergency response, electric power generation, smart cities, homes, car,s or any other smart appliances.

The healthcare sector is one of the most recent developing and emerging area which attracts researchers and industries attentions. In the health sector-wide uses of Artificial Intelligence methodologies, Wireless Body Sensor Networks, sensors, etc., Now, patients can be monitored remotely in a distributed manner and every vital health parameter of patients can be easily shared with doctors seamlessly. Extensive research is going on for more advanced and robust solutions with the help of Sensors, Cloud Computing and AI. The major challenges associated are how to efficiently manage data storage and their privacy. The CPS ensures high-quality healthcare along with high-grade security, interoperability.

The prominent characteristics of CPS enhance the system performance by increasing sensing capability, work on a real-time environment and data, predictable system behavior, distributed, and efficient, higher performance capability. The uses of AI further improve the system performance further. So, this is a dependent, safe, secure, efficient, reliable system working and deployed in various real-time systems healthcare, military, transport, energy, infrastructure, smart cities, smart home, etc,.
