The Advanced Imaging and Artificial Intelligence (AIAI) Lab, based at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, leads cutting-edge research at the intersection of computational imaging and artificial intelligence. Our team includes experts from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT), and the Kyungpook National University (KNU), making a strong collaborative foundation.

We develop intelligent imaging solutions for biomedical, agricultural, and industrial, by integrating advanced imaging technologies with artificial intelligence. Our work incorporates modalities such as optical coherence tomography (OCT) and high-resolution macro imaging, combined with techniques in machine learning (ML), deep learning (DL), computer vision, and smart sensing.
