Terms of Use for AI Voice Translator: Travel

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of AI Voice Translator: Travel (“Voice Translate,” the “App,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. THE SERVICE
Voice Translate provides voice, text, conversation, camera, live-translation, phrasebook, travel, note, and related language tools. Some features use artificial intelligence and third-party services to process content and generate translations or summaries.
Translations, transcriptions, summaries, detected text, pronunciations, exchange-rate information, travel phrases, and other outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or unsuitable for a particular context.
2. IMPORTANT TRANSLATION DISCLAIMER
The App is a convenience and communication aid. It is not a certified interpreter and must not be relied upon as the sole source for medical, legal, immigration, emergency, financial, safety-critical, or other high-risk decisions.
Always verify important translations with a qualified human professional. You are responsible for reviewing App output before using, sharing, or acting on it.
3. ELIGIBILITY AND LICENSE
You must be legally permitted to use the App and enter into these Terms. The App is not directed to children under 13.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with Apple’s applicable terms.
4. YOUR CONTENT
You retain ownership of the text, voice recordings, photos, notes, and other content you provide.
You grant us and our service providers a limited license to process submitted content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the feature you request. This may include sending text, audio, images, prompts, and related language settings to configured speech-recognition or AI providers.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to submit any content you use with the App. Do not submit confidential, unlawful, infringing, or unnecessarily sensitive personal information.
5. ACCEPTABLE USE
You may use the App only for lawful, personal purposes. You may not:
• Reverse engineer, copy, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App except where applicable law expressly permits it.
• Interfere with, overload, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to the App or its service providers.
• Use automated, abusive, fraudulent, or excessive request patterns.
• Upload malicious, unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or infringing content.
• Circumvent usage limits, subscription controls, security measures, or access restrictions.
• Misrepresent AI-generated translations or summaries as certified professional advice.
6. SUBSCRIPTIONS, FREE TRIALS, AND PAYMENTS
Some features require an auto-renewable subscription. Available plans, prices, billing periods, trial eligibility, and renewal terms are displayed in the App and in Apple’s purchase confirmation sheet before you authorize a purchase.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID when the purchase is confirmed. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription. If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends. Eligibility is determined by Apple and may vary by account or region.
Purchases, billing, cancellations, and refund requests are administered by Apple under Apple’s policies. We do not directly collect or store payment card details. Restore Purchases can restore eligible purchases associated with your Apple ID.
7. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The App may rely on third-party services including Apple, OpenAI, Google Gemini, Google Firebase, and other configured speech or AI providers. Your use of those services may also be subject to their terms and privacy policies.
Internet access may be required for AI translation, transcription, camera processing, subscription verification, remote configuration, and certain travel tools. Carrier or internet charges are your responsibility.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Except for your content and third-party materials, the App, Voice Translate branding, software, interface, original content, graphics, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
No rights are granted except the limited license expressly stated in these Terms.
9. AVAILABILITY AND CHANGES
We may update, modify, limit, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App. We do not guarantee that every language, voice, provider, translation, transcription, camera result, travel tool, or subscription offering will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
10. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of data, loss of opportunity, or losses arising from reliance on translations, transcriptions, summaries, travel information, or other App output.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the amount you paid for the App during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or the minimum amount required by applicable law.
12. SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION
We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, misuse the service, threaten security, or where required by law. You may stop using the App at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
13. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the App, law, or service providers. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
