This workshop is a multidisciplinary event bringing together specialists in artificial intelligence from computer science, law, economics, management and sociology. It aims to promote discussion and exchange across fields to highlight the main challenges posed by AI technologies.
It also brings together professors from several academic institutions (UNIL, UPEC, HEG Genève, EPFL, CHUV, UNIGE, UNINE, ETHZ and ENPC-CNRS), as well as practitioners from companies (Nestlé, IBM, viadata and Resilio) and public institutions involved in regulating and designing best practices in the AI development (PEReN, DETEC and CNAI).
The two-day sessions are thought to progressively present the main uses of AI methods, followed by the collective challenges and finally the current state and future of legal and regulatory frameworks in Europe and Switzerland.
Participation is subject to registration by June 2nd.
Venue to the workshop: HEC Lausanne, Room 109, Extranef, 1015 Chavannes-près-Renens.
