How AI Troll Works

AI Troll is a fully offline AI application. The app downloads AI models from third-party sources (such as HuggingFace) and runs them entirely on your device using the llama.cpp inference engine.

Key Privacy Features:

• All AI processing happens 100% locally on your device

• No account or registration required

• No cloud services involved in AI processing

• No data is sent to external servers after model download

• Your conversations are never transmitted anywhere

Model Downloads

When you download AI models:

• Downloads are fetched directly from HuggingFace or other model sources

• Only basic HTTP requests are made to download model files

• No personal information is transmitted during downloads

• Downloaded models are stored locally on your device

• You can delete downloaded models at any time

Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device:

• Chat History: Stored only in local app storage

• Models: Stored in your device's internal storage

• Settings: Stored locally using Android preferences

You can delete all app data at any time by:

• Clearing app data from Android Settings

• Uninstalling the app

• Deleting individual conversations or models within the app

Third-Party Services

AI Troll connects to third-party services only for downloading AI models (e.g., from HuggingFace).

These services have their own privacy policies that govern how they handle your download requests.

Children's Privacy

AI Troll is intended for users aged 18 and older. The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

While AI Troll does not collect data, parents and guardians should be aware that AI models can generate unpredictable content. Minors should only use this application under direct adult supervision. See "Age Requirements and Parental Responsibility" in Terms of Use for full details.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.

Terms of Service

By using AI Troll, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using AI Troll, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legal agreement between you and the developers of AI Troll.

2. Description of Service

AI Troll is a mobile application that enables users to run Large Language Models (LLMs) locally on their devices. The app provides:

• Offline AI chat functionality

• Model download and management from third-party sources

• Local model import capabilities

• Customizable AI generation settings

3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

AI Troll uses artificial intelligence models to generate responses. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading

• You should NOT rely on AI responses for medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice

• You are solely responsible for verifying any information provided by the AI

• The developers of AI Troll make no warranties about the accuracy or reliability of AI outputs

• AI responses do not represent the views or opinions of the developers

4. Third-Party AI Models

AI Troll allows you to download and use AI models from third-party sources (such as HuggingFace). You acknowledge and agree that:

• Each AI model has its own license terms that you must comply with

• You are solely responsible for reviewing and complying with each model's license

• Some models may have restrictions on commercial use, modification, or redistribution

• Models without a specified license should be used at your own risk

• The developers of AI Troll are not responsible for any third-party model content, quality, or licensing issues

• You assume all risks associated with downloading and using third-party models

5. User Responsibilities

You agree that you will:

• Use AI Troll and downloaded models responsibly and ethically

• Not use the app to generate harmful, illegal, or inappropriate content

• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

• Not hold the developers liable for your use or misuse of AI models

• Accept full responsibility for any consequences of using AI-generated content

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• AI Troll is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind

• The developers disclaim all liability for damages arising from your use of the app

• This includes direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, and punitive damages

• You use AI Troll and all AI models entirely at your own risk

7. Intellectual Property

LICENSE GRANT: Subject to your compliance with these Terms, the developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use AI Troll on your personal device solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

RESTRICTIONS: You may not:

• Copy, modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the application

• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code

• Redistribute, sublicense, sell, rent, lease, or transfer the application to any third party

• Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks on the application

• Use the application for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms

THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS:

• AI Troll uses llama.cpp, which is licensed under the MIT License

• Other open-source components (Android Jetpack, Kotlin, Koin, Ktor, Compose Markdown) are listed in the app's Licenses section and retain their original licenses

• AI models downloaded through the application retain their original licenses and intellectual property rights

• Your use of third-party AI models is subject to those models' respective license terms

RESERVATION OF RIGHTS: All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved by the developer. The developer retains all ownership rights in and to the application.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

GOVERNING LAW: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

JURISDICTION: Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of AI Troll shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in İzmir, Türkiye.

MANDATORY PRE-TRIAL DISPUTE RESOLUTION: Before initiating any legal proceedings, you agree to first contact the developer at avsoftdevelop@gmail.com to attempt to resolve any dispute informally. You must provide a written description of the dispute, including any relevant documentation. The developer will have thirty (30) days from the date of receipt to respond and attempt to resolve the matter. If the dispute cannot be resolved within this 30-day period, either party may then proceed with formal legal action.

9. Language and Translations

All documents regarding the use of this application, including these Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and any permissions, instructions, or warnings, are drafted in English and officially published at https://sites.google.com/view/ai-trol.

Any translations of these documents, including those provided automatically by the application or third-party services, are provided for convenience only and are not considered authentic. In the event of any discrepancy between a translated version and the original English version published at the above location, the original English version shall prevail, including during dispute resolution or clarification of the application's terms of use.

By downloading and using AI Troll, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to review the English version of all legal documents and confirm your understanding of their contents.

10. Age Requirements and Parental Responsibility

AGE REQUIREMENT: You must be at least 18 years of age to use AI Troll. By using this application, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.

PARENTAL AND GUARDIAN RESPONSIBILITY: Parents and legal guardians bear full and exclusive responsibility and liability for any access to or use of AI Troll by minors under their care. By permitting a minor to access this application, you:

• Accept full responsibility for any and all actions taken by the minor while using the application

• Accept full liability for any harm, damage, or consequences resulting from the minor's use of AI models, including harm to themselves, to others, or to third parties

• Accept responsibility for any content generated, shared, or acted upon by the minor

• Acknowledge that AI models can produce inaccurate, inappropriate, or potentially harmful content and agree to supervise the minor's use accordingly

• Agree to ensure the minor understands the risks and limitations of AI-generated content

• Accept full liability for the minor's compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws

WARNING: Children and minors must use this application only under direct adult supervision. The developer strongly recommends that minors not use this application unsupervised due to the unpredictable nature of AI-generated content.

DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY: The developer expressly disclaims any and all liability for:

• Any harm, injury, or damage arising from a minor's use of the application

• Any actions taken by minors based on AI-generated content

• Any consequences of unsupervised access by minors

• Any misuse of the application by minors, regardless of whether such use was authorized by a parent or guardian

INDEMNIFICATION: Parents and guardians agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the developer from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from a minor's access to or use of the application.

11. Data Security and User Responsibility

NO DATA PROTECTION WARRANTY: While AI Troll is designed to process conversations locally on your device without transmitting data to external servers, the application DOES NOT provide data protection, encryption, or security features. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI Troll is not designed to be a secure or protected environment for sensitive information

• The application does not encrypt, secure, or protect your conversations or any data stored locally

• Local storage on your device is only as secure as your device itself

USER RESPONSIBILITY FOR DATA SECURITY: You bear sole and exclusive responsibility for:

• The security of your device, including passwords, screen locks, and device encryption

• Keeping your device's operating system and security patches up to date

• Protecting your device from unauthorized physical access

• Protecting your device from malware, viruses, and unauthorized remote access

• Deciding what information to share with AI models

• Any consequences of sharing sensitive, personal, confidential, or proprietary information with AI models

DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY FOR DATA BREACHES: The developer expressly disclaims any and all liability for:

• Unauthorized access to your conversations or data due to device compromise, hacking, malware, or security vulnerabilities

• Data exposure resulting from lost, stolen, or compromised devices

• Accidental disclosure of information by the user (e.g., screenshots, copy-paste, screen sharing)

• Any data leakage or unexpected behavior caused by third-party AI models

• Actions or outputs of AI models that may expose, reference, or process your input data in unexpected ways

• Any interception of data during model downloads or other network activity

• Access to local app data by other applications on your device

THIRD-PARTY AI MODEL RISKS: AI models downloaded from third-party sources operate independently of the developer's control. You acknowledge that:

• AI models may process, store, or utilize your input data in ways not controlled by the developer

• Some AI models may be designed or modified by third parties in ways that could compromise data privacy

• The developer has no control over and accepts no responsibility for the behavior of third-party AI models

• You assume all risks associated with the models you choose to download and use

RECOMMENDATION: Do not enter sensitive personal information, passwords, financial data, confidential business information, or any other data you wish to keep private into conversations with AI models.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of AI Troll after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
