Proviso West Academic Intervention

Welcome

The purpose of the Academic Intervention Program at Proviso West is to inspire and promote our students' persistence in and graduation from Proviso West High School. Academic intervention is intended to support student's recognition of the obstacles interrupting their academic progress and achievement by offering success strategies training, academic coaching, and additional academic and executive functioning resources. We also provide professional development to teachers on how to implement research-based Tier 1 strategies in the classroom.

I have worked as an educator for over 20 years in Chicago and the suburbs specializing in reluctant learners. No two students learn and grow the same. I support students and staff to make sure every student realizes their academic potential.
