Thank you for using AI Playground for Kids. We care about your privacy and designed this app to be safe for kids and families. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

What data we collect

AI Playground is designed to work without creating an account and without collecting personal information.

• Progress and settings: We store your lesson progress (stars, completed lessons, time spent) and app settings (like narration preferences) locally on your device using Apple’s UserDefaults.

• Photos (optional): In the “Vision Magic” lesson, you may choose a photo from your device. Photos are analyzed on-device for educational purposes and are not uploaded to any server by the app.

• Audio: The app uses text-to-speech (narration) to read instructions. We do not record or transmit your voice.

• No precise location, contacts, or other personal data are collected.

How we use data

• To run the app and improve your learning experience (e.g., saving progress, enabling narration).

• All data stays on your device. We do not send data to our servers.

On-device processing

• Computer Vision: Image analysis in “Vision Magic” is performed on-device using Apple frameworks (e.g., Vision). Your images are not uploaded by the app.

• Narration: Speech is generated on-device using Apple’s AVSpeechSynthesizer.

No tracking, no ads

• We do not use third-party advertising.

• We do not use analytics that track you across apps or websites.

• We do not sell, rent, or share your data.

Children’s privacy

AI Playground is suitable for children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected a child’s personal information by mistake, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Data sharing

We do not share your data with third parties. If you contact us by email, we will use your message only to respond to your inquiry.

Data retention and deletion

• Your progress and settings remain on your device until you delete the app or reset progress in Settings.

• To delete your data:

   • In the app: Go to Settings → Reset Progress.

   • Or delete the app from your device to remove all locally stored data.

Security

We use Apple’s secure platform features. Because we do not collect or transmit your data to our servers, your data remains on your device under your control.

Third-party services

AI Playground uses Apple frameworks (e.g., AVFoundation, Vision, Photos). Your use of these services is subject to Apple’s terms and privacy practices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted at this URL with an updated “Last updated” date.
