AI Overview Blocker stores only one setting using Chrome Storage:
Whether the extension is enabled or disabled.
This setting is stored locally within the user's browser (or synchronized through the user's Chrome account if Chrome Sync is enabled). It is never transmitted to the developer.
AI Overview Blocker does not share, sell, or transfer user data to any third parties.
AI Overview Blocker does not load or execute remote code. All code executed by the extension is packaged with the extension when it is installed.
The extension requests the following permissions solely to perform its intended function:
Storage – Used to remember whether the extension is enabled or disabled.
Access to Google Search pages – Used only to detect and remove Google's AI Overview from search results.
No information from Google Search pages is collected, stored, or transmitted.
