Founded in 2004, the Festival du Cinéma Chinois de Paris was initiated and is chaired by Deanna Gao, with the mission of introducing Chinese cinema to French audiences through the lens of film. The festival has successfully held fifteen editions, showcasing nearly 500 acclaimed Chinese films to French audiences. Featuring a diverse selection including feature films, animations, and documentaries, the festival serves as a dynamic platform for Sino-French cultural exchange and offers French viewers an immersive insight into Chinese cinema and society.

The Centre Culturel de Chine à Paris is the first Chinese cultural center established in Europe.
