As a future architect, I see AI as a tool that can support and improve the design process rather than replace it. I think AI is useful for generating ideas, exploring concepts quickly, creating visualizations, and helping with research. It can save time during brainstorming and make certain tasks more efficient. However, I also believe architecture is deeply connected to human experience, culture, emotions, and critical thinking, which AI cannot fully understand.
Personally, I would use AI as a source of inspiration and assistance while still relying on my own creativity and design judgment. I think the role of an architect is not only to create visually appealing spaces but also spaces that are meaningful, functional, and emotionally connected to people. Because of this, I believe AI should remain a supporting tool in architecture, while the final decisions and creative direction should still come from the architect.
