This stems from a homophonic pun on "汉奸" (Hànjiān), meaning "traitor," linked to her previous persona, Sakuma Min, during which she made comments that led some to believe she was attempting to conceal her Chinese identity and present herself as Japanese. Specifically, she expressed a preference for not using Chinese, which some interpreted as an effort to dissociate from her Chinese heritage. This perception resulted in criticism from certain viewers, who accused her of pretending to be Japanese.
