This Privacy Policy explains how Ai DocuWrite & MailConvert Pro (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our Android application.
A) Information you provide directly:
AI Text Processing: When you use AI tools (paraphrasing, rewriting), the text is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate a response. We do not store this text on our own servers.
User Content: When using OCR or PDF tools, you select files/images from your device. These are processed to perform the requested action.
B) Information collected automatically:
Advertising Identifiers: Advertising SDKs (AdMob, AppLovin) may collect Android Advertising ID (AD-ID), IP address, and device diagnostics to provide personalized or non-personalized ads.
App Performance: We collect crash-related diagnostics to improve service reliability.
C) Local Data Storage:
On-Device History: QR scans, generated files, and app settings are stored locally on your device. You have full control to delete this data at any time.
In accordance with the 2026 Google Play Policy updates, we use the following permissions only for essential features:
CAMERA: Used strictly for real-time QR/barcode scanning and capturing images for OCR. No images are captured without your direct action.
PHOTO & VIDEO ACCESS (Photo Picker): On supported Android versions, we use the Android Photo Picker to allow you to select specific images/PDFs. This ensures we only access the files you explicitly choose, minimizing data access.
STORAGE (Legacy): READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE and WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE are used only on older Android versions for file processing and saving exports.
NO CONTACTS ACCESS: This app does not request or access your contacts or call logs.
The App integrates trusted third-party SDKs that process data according to their policies:
OpenAI: For AI-powered text generation.
Google ML Kit: For on-device OCR and barcode recognition (ensures maximum privacy).
Google AdMob & AppLovin: For advertising and fraud prevention.
No Health Data: This app does not access, collect, or share any sensitive health or fitness data (Android 16 compliance).
No Location Tracking: We do not use Geofencing or background location services.
Local Data: You can clear your scan history or generated files by clearing the app cache or uninstalling the app.
Permission Management: You can revoke any permission (Camera, Storage) at any time through your device settings.
AI Privacy: If you do not wish for your text to be processed by AI, you may choose not to use the AI-specific features.
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data. Since most processing (OCR/QR) happens on-device, your private files remain secure.
