About the Lab

The AI:SECURITY Lab is part of the AI:X initiative at Aalborg University (AAU), and is a joint effort between the Department of Computer Science and the Department of Electronic Systems. The lab is based at the AAU Copenhagen campus, within the Technical Faculty of IT and Design.

We build intelligent systems that are secure, ethical, and aligned with human values. Our research sits at the intersection of AI, cybersecurity, and machine learning safety, with a strong focus on real-world impact.
