This is how I felt in December 2022, a few weeks after OpenAI launched ChatGPT for the masses.
What you see on this website started as a Notes app note on my iPhone, which I'd update whenever I learned of a new tool, thought leader, publication, or other resource.
After sharing these details with faculty friends, I decided to publish my list here.
Since then, I have presented it at regional and national conferences, like the Quality Matters Ohio Consortium in May 2024. (Smart bunch of folks, those QM people are -- be sure to get involved!)
Next up is the New EXplorations in Teaching (NEXT) Conference in November 2024. 👋 Maybe you are you are here right now!
While conference presentations become dated, I update this site regularly. For example, since the May 2024 Quality Matters conference, I've added new resources on prompting, new stats, and updated links.
I'd love to connect and learn more about how you are using or would like to use AI in the classroom. Also, I'm always on the hunt for collaborators and commiserators for projects, grants, student opportunities, and gigs on AI, digital marketing, ed tech and more.
